Coaching

Since completing my PhD in 2017, I have dedicated myself to supporting PhD candidates in their academic experience. In 2026, my commitment reaches a new milestone as I step into coaching! 🥳

For the past six years, I’ve worked in doctoral education within universities, providing confidential individual support to up to 40 PhD candidates each year (among other ways of supporting them), and I continue to do so today. Building on this experience, over the past year, I completed an advanced coaching program at the IDC Institute of Coaching from Geneva.

Now, I am aiming for the certification of the International Coaching Federation.

While my experience has focused on supporting mainly PhD candidates and some of their supervisors, I’m excited to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and career paths as I expand into coaching.

🚀 Starting spring 2026, I’ll be offering coaching sessions at an accessible rate as part of my certification journey!

What Can Coaching Help You With? some examples:

  • Unlock a project you’ve been struggling to move forward with.
  • Regain balance and satisfaction in your life, professionally and personally.
  • Make an important professional decision by clarifying priorities and what is important for you.
  • Launch a creative project to explore new activities and open doors to new opportunities, just as starting this blog did for me 😊

What Coaching Is?

  • It’s about empowering you to take actions toward an objective which you will set yourself.
  • It’s a creative process helping you to gain clarity and uncover new solutions.
  • It encourages self-awareness and accountability so you can grow sustainably.
  • It’s about respecting the person you are and your values.

What Coaching Is Not?

  • Giving you my advice or opinion.
  • Telling you what to do (it’s not consulting).
  • Sharing my own path or experience (it’s not mentoring).
  • Treating mental health concerns (it’s not therapy).

Who Is This For?

  • Researchers or professionals from any field who want to work toward an objective.
  • Anyone comfortable working in English or French.
  • People ready to commit to the coaching process (see more below 👇).

Who Am I?

  • In short: I’m French, born in 1989, living in Switzerland since 2012. I hold an engineering master’s degree in biotechnology and a PhD in biology.
  • Since 2022, I’ve been Deputy at the Graduate Campus of the University of Lausanne, a central service for PhD candidates and postdocs. I give workshops such as “Getting your thesis off to a good start” and provide confidential individual support to up to 40 PhD candidates per year, as well as guidance for supervisors.
  • In 2025, alongside my training, I completed full coaching processes with two PhD candidates and one professional outside academia.
